Phases of the moon

Since the Sun is moving around in an orbit of its own

S
ince
the Sun is moving around in an orbit of its own, the cause of New moon and Full
moon is not due to earth’s position but the position of the moon on different
levels with north south movement with reference to the cosmic equator. For
example when the Sun is at star  Asvini 0° to 13°  and the moon moving on its
pathway Chitra at 180° to the Sun and reflects fully thr
ough
different level position star with reference to the cosmic equator.

Accordingly with the
moon is reaching the same plane as that of the Sun and the Sun hides the face of
the moon completely resulting the New Moon. The cresent moon is visible when the
moon moves away gradually either in ascending or descending order as per the
cosmograph along the cosmic pole the movement of the sun also causes the
formation of phases of the moon
